Decentralised FAF#10: Coloured Qollective Summer Solstice Celebrating Queer Joy

as the sun reaches its highest point, where shadows grow short and gold rays shine brightest, we gather to celebrate queer joy and honor the land that nurtures us 🌞

this summer solstice, in the middle of pride month, as the earth offers us the abundance of summer, we’re hosting an evening of food and connection. it’s part of the Food Autonomy Festival #10: a decentralized constellation of events across different cities, each held by a different collective. this event by Coloured Qollective is one of them.

a moment to honor the land that holds us, on this part of the earth that may feel new and foreign or old and familiar for so many of us, and to find support, sweetness, and each other during these uncertain times.

while our gatherings are usually held by and for queer and trans people of color, this one opens wider. queer joy is at the heart of it, and anyone who comes with respect and softness is welcome.
