More and more consumers are looking for healthy, honest and sustainable food. At several places people have come together in food collectives who want to buy fresh food together at local farmers. This creates a new connection between consumer and producer. It also contributes to an honest price and the reduction of food miles.
Nieuwvers (an initiative by Urgenda and Foodlog) gladly supports these collectives in their development. In cooperation with VersVoko we organise on the 2nd May in the evening a meeting for initiators and people involved in new or existing food collectives. This evening will specifically look at the fiscal en legal aspects of food coops. An advisor of Ernst&Young will present to answer specific questions.
