ASEED will give a workshop at the 2dh5 festival, which is “an annual festival for the exchange of radical ideas, strategies and practices by grassroots campaigns, collective projects and direct action campaigns in the Netherlands and beyond. In previous editions, this has been done through collective analyses of the current and historical context, through looking at real alternatives and political practices, and through a collective (re) discovering of strategies / tactics relevant to our current terrain of struggle.” (2dh5 website: https://www.2dh5.nl/)

In this workshop we will explore why food autonomy is an essential feature to address when building anarchist and autonomous societies. We will look at different examples of autonomous groups all over the world, such as the Zapatistas in Chiapas and the ZAD Notre Dame des Landes and try to understand the importance of their autonomous agricultural projects, and how those can be inspirations for our political fight against capitalism and state control.

The event will take place in RuParé, in Amsterdam on the 26th and 27th of February with lots of interesting and exciting workshop and sessions. The time of our workshop will be announced soon!!!
