You may have heard it already: The Zapatistas are on their ‘Gira por la Vida’ (engl: Journey for life) through Europe and will hopefully also come to the Netherlands! We are super excited for them to share their stories, wisdom, and struggles with us and connect with them through our own struggles here where we are finding ourselves to listen and learn from each other. Before our encounter with them, we would like to invite you to learn more together about who the Zapatistas are and their history of fighting for autonomy under a capitalist state. What connects us to them and them to us and what brings them to Europe? Explore with us these and many more questions in our upcoming (!Offline!) Reading Group on the 18th of August at 18:30-20:00 in the ASEED office. After the reading group we invite you to stay and have dinner together, more details on this will follow closer to the date.
