Voku & Reclaim the Seeds

ASEED welcomes you back to our monthly climate justice voku at De Fabriek Volkskamer. Again we’ll strive to nourish you with a hearty and healthy meal to power through the winter blues (3 courses €6).

After last month’s inspiring insights from Amanda on ancestral ecofeminism from Peru, we turn towards the battle for seed sovereignty in Latin America. We screen the documentary ‘Seeds: Common Good or Corporate Property’ (see for description: https://vimeo.com/240217030) made by 8 grassroots organisations.

We then get a flavour of the inspiring actions happening across the European continent to celebrate and keep alive heirloom and indigenous seeds. We hope this invigorates you to participate in a short reflection on our relationship to seeds and to join Reclaim the Seeds festival in Amsterdam March 21-22 (http://reclaimtheseeds-amsterdam.nl/en/home-en/).
