ESC Positions available for the Fossil Free Agriculture Campaign at ASEED Europe – Apply Now!

Want to work at ASEED? This is your chance !

Do you have an affinity with activism and grass-roots campaigning on food, agriculture, and social justice? Would you like to work on transforming our current food system towards a more fair and sustainable one; putting food in the hands of the people?

We are looking for new ESC members (European Solidarity Corps) to join the ASEED team in Amsterdam from September 2025 – September 2026.

What is ASEED Europe?

ASEED Europe (Action for Sustainability, Environment, Equality and Diversity) is a small grassroots action and campaign group working in and around Amsterdam. ASEED targets the structural causes of environmental destruction and social injustice, and promotes sustainable alternatives in agroecology and food autonomy.

How do we work ?

We support the rights of individuals and communities all around the world to determine their own lives. Therefore, we work with groups which promote local democracy and social justice, as well as taking these principles as a starting point in our own campaigns. We believe in freedom of movement, defend the rights of many, especially minorities and the oppressed, and support organisations which support refugees. Our commitment to equity is also reflected in our non-hierarchical working practices and consensus decision-making. Furthermore, we try to identify and work on our own biases as people, and within our organisation.

ASEED is a horizontal organization where your input and diversity is celebrated. This means that we commit to supporting your own agency, acknowledging power imbalances, and exploring critical thinking. It also means that you can chose which aspects of the campaign you want to focus on and which working groups you feel you will thrive best in.

We have a commitment to intersectionality in our fight for food justice and we ask anyone considering joining the team to read this statement before applying.
