Awareness team
Throughout the entire weekend, we will have a team available for conflict management, as listening team and to help out with accessibility concerns. This team will be visibly marked and a phone number will be available through which they can be reached at all times. Next to this team, the infostall will be available to help out.
Friday (Boterbloem, Lutkemeerpolder):
Unfortunately, we can only provide very limited wheelchair accessibility for the programme on Friday. Below you can find a clearer description of what is available and what is not.
The location:
- The location is reachable by car, public transport or by bike. From the next busstation, the location is 20 minutes by foot. We will have a clearly marked parkingspot for disabled folks, where only people with a valid disability-card can park. Bikes can be parked on location.
- The day program is unfortunately inaccessible for wheelchairs. For other disabilities, we will do our best to find possibilities for accessibility. However, we cannot guarantee autonomy in mobility.
- The evening programme will happen on a grass field that is mowed. The ground is hard so it can be accessible by wealchairs if it is not raining. However, it is not ideal and we can therefore not guarantee full autonomy in mobility.
- There will not be a wheelchair accessible toilet for this day.
- We will have a designated smoking area; we will ask people not to smoke in the camp, only in this designated area.
Childcare:
We cannot provide childcare during this part of the festival.
Food:
The food will be vegan and allergens will be marked. Please let us know at the infostall if you have specific requirements for food.
Alcohol & other drugs:
We ask people to be respectful and mindful about their alcohol consumption and to take responsibility for their actions. We ask people to smoke in the designated area.
Dogs:
We ask people to be mindful of the dogs that they bring to the festival. People can bring dogs to festival but they need to be on leash at all time. There will be an animal free zone. Be aware that if your dog is aggressive we will ask you to leave.
Saturday and Sunday (Noordoogst):
The location:
- The location is reachable by car, public transport or by bike. From the next busstation, the location is 12 minutes by foot. We will have a clearly marked parkingspot for disabled folks, where only people with a valid disability-card can park. Bikes can be parked on location.
- Parts of the festival will happen on concrete ground, as well as in an inside area for workshops. Both are accessible autonomously for folks with reduced mobility. This area includes stalls, parts of the workshops and the eating area. Some of the workshops will happen on a grassfield, we are currently working on making it accessible with rubber mats or wooden planks, but we cannot guarantee that yet. We will update this text as soon as we know more.
- A wheelchair-accessible toilet is available on site, following the recommendations of ITs guidelines (Integrale toegankelijkheid standaard) .
- The edge of the festival area will be marked with tape and woodchips on the ground, so it is clear for folks with impaired sight where the terrain ends. The route on the terrain will be clearly marked with directional signs.
- The performances will be accessible and an area in the front will reserved for wheelchairs.
- We will have a designated smoking area; we will ask people not to smoke in the camp, only in this designated area.
- We will have a low-sensory tent, that is a calm space and will also be used as a support and recovery area. This space is especially meant for neuro-atypical folks. We hope to always have a team present that is there to support and answer questions. This area will be clearly marked with a sign.
Childcare:
We will have an area designated for children with games etc. available for them. However, we cannot provide childcare throughout the entire festival.
Language & translation:
We will have a simultaneous translation system for the sessions. We will ask before every session, whether any specific languages are needed and whether someone can translate. The devices and headphones will be provided. We cannot provide translation into Dutch Sign Language. In the online sessions we will use closed caption.
Food:
Food will be cooked in the kitchen area. The eating area is accessible. The food will be vegan and allergens will be marked. Please let us know at the infostall if you have specific requirements for food.

Accessibility announcement Sunday May 2022
We have unfortunately found out that there will be municipality construction work on the concrete area of the grounded terrain that was due to have one of the tents set up and accessible by wheelchair. We are allowed to use the grass field neighbouring the site, which is a flatter area for the tents to be situated. We are currently working on ways to make this wheelchair accessible, however we cannot currently guarantee autonomy in mobility for this new location. We are very sorry for this new change and will work on finding ways around this new development.
Friday (Voorkamer, Lombok):
The location
- The location is reachable by car, public transport or by bike. From the closest busstation, the location is 5 minutes by foot. Bikes can be parked on location.
- We are looking into disabled parking spots at the location, currently it is unsure if these will be available.
- The building itself is wheelchair accessible. However, there is not a wheelchair accessible toilet in the building itself. There is an accessible toilet 4 minutes away at Buurthuis Rosa, which we are able to use for the Friday night program.
Translation
We will have translation in English and Dutch for this evening. This translation will be done live and alongside the speaker into the other langauge (English or Dutch respectively).
Food
The food will be vegan and allergens will be marked. Please let us know at the entrance to the Voorkamer if you have specific requirements for food.

Saturday (farm tours around Utrecht)
Unfortunately, we can only provide very limited wheelchair accessibility for the programme on Saturday. Below you can find a clearer description of what is available and what is not.
Location
- This day program is unfortunately inaccessible for wheelchairs. For other disabilities, we will do our best to find possibilities for accessibility. However, we cannot guarantee autonomy in mobility.
- There will not be a wheelchair accessible toilet for this day.
- On the farms we will outline a designated smoking area; we will ask people to only smoke in this designated area.
Transport
The farms are accessible by cars, public transport and bike. We will be organising at least one car to be available for the tour (an option in the sign up form will be made available for utilising this transport option). From the closest busstation the location is 15 minutes by foot.
Childcare
We cannot provide childcare during this part of the festival.

Sunday (Grounded, Lunet I)
We are currently working on making part of the festival at the grounded site wheelchair accessible. However, given the steepness of the terrain and a large part requiring access by stairs, one tent and some of the program will not be wheelchair accessible. Below you can find a clearer description of what is available and what is not.
Location
- The location is reachable by car, public transport or by bike. From the closest busstation, the location is 15 minutes by foot. The closest tram station is also 15 minutes by foot. From the closest train station it is 20 minutes by foot. Bikes can be parked on location.
- We will have a clearly marked parking spot for disabled folks, where only people with a valid disability-card can park. Please reach out to info [at] aseed [dot] net if you require such a parking spot so it can be reserved.
- Parts of the festival will happen on concrete ground at the entrance to the festival, as well as in an inside area for workshops. Both are accessible autonomously for folks with reduced mobility. This area includes stalls, parts of the workshops (in a workshop tent) and the eating area. Some of the workshops will happen on a grassfield, as mentioned prior these other workshops are on a higher and uneven terrain, so this unfortunately is not wheelchair accessible.
- A wheelchair-accessible toilet is available on site.
