The seventh edition of the Food Autonomy Festival (FAF) is taking place this June!

The Food Autonomy Festival (FAF) is about presenting and celebrating alternatives and resistance to the state and corporate-controlled industrial food system.

This festival always had the purpose to create an open and accessible space for collectives, organisations and individuals. A place where we exchange perspectives, ideas, knowledge and skills about topics related to food and social justice; a moment to create new relationships and strengthen existing ones. Above all, the FAF has been a place to celebrate and explore possibilities for creating a just and sustainable world.

The FAF#7 will happen in two locations this year:
🌱 9-10-11 of June at ADM Noord / Het Groene Veld (Buikslotermeerdijk 95) in Amsterdam
🌱
17th of June: Farming tours on local farms & 18th of June at the Emma Center in Utrecht.

Like every year, celebration is at the heart of FAF! This year however, the FAF Amsterdam will mainly be a movement building and binding process. We are going to focus on the dependency on fossil fuels both at the industrial agriculture system, and at society as a whole. Through that, we would like to build bridges between the agroecology and the anti-gas movement and combine our struggles towards a food system and world free from fossil-fuels. We know that together we can destroy the structures that oppress us and build a better future.

More information about the program of both FAF Amsterdam & Utrecht coming soon, so keep an eye out!

Do you want to participate to this movement building process? Do you have a campaign, an initiative, a project or a performance that you would want to share with all participants? We are currently finalising the program but there is space for additional contributions! Contact us to info@aseed.net or paulina@aseed.net.
