Free the Soil organizes a mass-action of civil disobedience against the fertilizer-company YARA, as well as an Agriculture & Climate-Justice Camp between the 19th and 25th of September 2019. Would you like to join this action, but don’t know how to get to Germany? Then you should sign up for our affordable buses!

We will be leaving on the 19th in the morning from Amsterdam and Utrecht, and come back on the 25th in the evening. The price of the return trip is between €40 and €60. Pay what you can, and feel free to pay a bit more if you have a big wallet. For your information, this is cheaper and much more gezellig than traveling with a commercial bus company.

If you would like to reserve a seat in the bus, please send an e-mail to free_the_soil@aseed.net with the following information:

Name :

Phone number :
(this is necessary for the case of an event that might hinder you to arrive on time or similar)

E-Mail address :

The amount can be transferred to Triodos Bank account: IBAN: NL47 TRIO 0254 7289 52, in the name of Stichting A SEED Europe, Amsterdam, with the message: “FtS Bus – Full Name” (the name you used to reserve, of course!)

Until you have paid, your seat is not reserved. The deadline for the payment is the 5th of September. If you have not paid by then, your seat will be given to someone on the waiting list. Please put your e-mail in your payment details in order to receive a confirmation.

Free the Soil is a campaign to expose the devastating practices and impacts of industrial agriculture and the major role this industry plays in the escalating climate crisis. Free the Soil is providing information, calls to action and organizes a mass-action and camp to denounce industrial agriculture and the synthetic fertilizer industry. We encourage you and your group to take part in this struggle! Are you not able to join the Free the Soil mass action, but would like to support the campaign? Then donate here or below!

It is possible to support ASEED long-term, which gives us extra certainty about our income. From any bank account it is possible to schedule periodical money transfers and this is easy to arrange by yourself. Such scheduled payments can also be easily stopped at any moment. Periodic donations can be transferred to Triodos Bank account: IBAN: NL47 TRIO 0254 7289 52, in the name of Stichting A SEED Europe, Amsterdam, with the message: “Periodical Donation ASEED”. (SWIFT or BIC code for payments from abroad: TRIONL2U.)

Although it is not necessary, we are happy to be informed about your intention to support ASEED with a periodic donation. By receiving your name and email address, it is possible for us to inform you, as a donor, about important campaign activities. And maybe you would like to receive our quarterly digital newsletter SEEDmail? If this sounds interesting, please share your contact details to donor@aseed.net.

Thanks in advance from the whole ASEED team!

Deduct your contribution from your taxable income
Under certain conditions your donation doesn’t have to put too much pressure on your personal budget. ASEED is a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO or ANBI), acknowledged by the Dutch tax office. Therefore your can deduct a donation to ASEED from your taxable income in The Netherlands, under the condition that you commit to a fixed annual contribution for 5 years. You are also allowed to spread this payment. If you for example want to donate 5 Euro per month, you can download this form, print it, fill in your details including the amount of 60 (12 x 5,-) Euro annually, sign it and send it by post to ASEED or give to an ASEEDer you know. We will sign it too and send a copy back to you. Don’t forget to sign up as a donor via one of the above registration methods as well! Easy enough, who would not want to channel tax money to an independent action group after all those subsidy cuts?More information about PBO can be found on the English section of the Dutch tax office website. The official information about the organisation that is required for the ANBI status you can find here.
