ASEED is looking for interns!

General Description

Do you have an affinity with activism, grassroots organizing, or campaigning for agriculture and food issues, as well as social justice? Would you like to use your organising, communications or creative skills to change our current food system towards a more fair and sustainable one?

Then maybe this is something for you!

Every year ASEED organises the Food Autonomy Festival (FAF): an annual gathering presenting and celebrating alternatives and resistance to the state and corporate-controlled industrial food system. This year, we will once again host a grassroots gathering to strengthen the movement, but this time with the intended purpose of strategising for action…

Come work with us to make this gathering powerful!

We are looking for two interns to join us for the organisation of ASEED’s annual grassroots gathering taking place in the middle of June. From February, the interns will work closely with the team of coordinators and participants of the ESC program, providing support as needed and sharing responsibility for the daily tasks accordingly.

Below you can find the tasks related to the two internship positions, but there will be lots of freedom to investigate further themes in intersectional climate activism, connect with ASEED’s network of farmers, activists, and NGOs, and take on other tasks depending on your motivation and skills.

We are committed to being a diverse and inclusive workplace, which is why people from communities that experience discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity; gender; ability or sexuality are especially encouraged to apply.

Please read our Mission Statement, Intersectionality Statement, and Safer Space Agreement before applying.
