Date: Monday 6 March
Time: Doors open at 19:30, presentation/discussion from 20:00-22:00
Location: Lola Lik (next to Bajesdorp), H.J.E. Wenckebachweg 48, Amsterdam, www.lolalik.nl

Join us for a presentation that will tell a different story about Syria: not one of terror, bombs and escape, but of seeds, self-determination, freedom and the belief in social justice, peace and a better future for Syria. Our special guest for this evening is Ansar Hevi from 15th Garden, a bottom-up network of urban gardens and seed savers in bombed, besieged and blockaded Syrian cities. This growing food sovereignty network includes family gardens, rural farms, and agricultural initiatives in refugee camps in neighbouring states. At the end of the presentation we will also explore how we in the Netherlands can support the 15th Garden.

Also during Reclaim the Seed in Nijmegen on March 4 there will be an presentation about the 15th Garden by Ansar Hevi.

More about the 15th Garden you can read on an earlier article on this website.
