February 17, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Event Navigation
ASEED invites you to the first reading group of 2022!
Inspired by the work of Behoud Lutkemeer and the recent launch of the campaign Voedselpark, we would to take a moment to come together and learn more about this important land struggle that is happening so close to us.
We will be reflecting on this topic from different angles and through different formats: a podcast on our relation to food, a poem on soil, and an article introducing the concept of the commons.
Here are the different sources:
-Poems: “My stoel garden” by Regina Mclntosh and “Soil” by Irene Mathieu
-Podcast: “What kind of connection do you have with food?” – EXALT podcast with Will LaFleur
-Article: “The Common” by Christophe Aguiton
-Text: Behoud Lutkemeer & Voedselpark Amsterdam
We invite you to join this session where we can exchange, try to understand what is at stake, and reconceptualize our relation to this piece of fertile land in and around Amsterdam.
The reading group will be hybrid and takes place on the 17th of February from 19:00-20:30.
Sign up here: https://form.jotform.com/220346606433046
Once you have signed up we will send you the readings for this session and also later the zoom link to join the event. No previous knowledge of the topic is required, anyone who joins can have valuable insights!
We hope to see you there!
Love and rage,
The ASEED Reading Group Team
