One more year, we’ll take part in the counter conference to the European Gas Conference (EGC) on Vienna!

While the EGC will bring together big corporations and politicians to give continuity to the gas industry, we’ll meet with international grassroots groups to explore alternatives, strategise, and mobilise for change. The People’s Summit will host workshops, discussion, and lectures on:

⛏️ Extractivism & neocolonial energy politics
🪖 Authoritarian regimes, right-wing politics & energy crises

🗣️ In our workshop, we’ll invite participants to discover the links between fossil fuels and different foods. How do big corporations control the global agri-food system problems through synthetic fertilizers and neocolonial strategies? We will also open space to explore the alternatives and examples of resistance in the world. How can we oppose the industrial agri-food system without resorting to consumer choice narratives?
