Come garden with the Krakenburgers and ASEED!

It’s time to get our hands dirty again!

Join us on the 10th of March from 11:00-17:00 at the Krakenburg (Laan van Kronenburg 12). We will be preparing beds and sowing seeds for the upcoming season. No gardening experience is needed, and you can join at any time throughout the day!

We have some gardening tools and seeds available, but if you have your own, please bring them! Seeds and seedlings are also very welcome! And wear sturdy shoes!

There will be warm lunch and snacks for (cash) donation.

Since Krakenburg is an active squat, we ask people to be mindful and to not take/publish any pictures without consent, especially if there are people in it. If you are not familiar yet with security culture, please inform yourself beforehand if you are able to!

There will be live music by Your Local Pirates at 17:00.
We ask for a voluntary donation for this. All proceeds will go to Kifaya Foundation for Palestine!

Furthermore: besides our festive first gardening day of the year, Sunday is also the day that Israeli President Herzog is coming to Amsterdam. At 11.00 there will be a demonstration against this at the Portuguese Synagogue. We will also start gardening at 11.00, but if you want to attend the demo against Herzog first, you are also welcome to join us later in the day.
