Action for Solidarity Environment Equality and Diversity
For many years ASEED has been questioning large scale soy production in South America and the use of soy as animal feed in Europe. Even though the negative impact of that kind of intensive farming on people and nature has become more widely known in the past years, production and imports are still rising. As an extra danger WWF, Solidaridad and big corporations are greenwashing the use of soy by giving it a ‘sustainable label’.
ASEED Europe is inviting all interested people to join our monthly open campaign meeting, on Tuesday September 11th in Amsterdam. This will be the third meeting since June.

The European Coordination has just released a new publication on pesticides, “a small peasant agroecology manual on how to phase out the use of pesticides”.
On Thursday, April 5th, the Green Office from the Vrije Universiteit (VU) in Amsterdam organised a debate on pesticides and sustainable agriculture in order to assess the impact of chemical agriculture, and to ‘allow consumers to make a free choice‘.
